On August 14, the Round-Table Meeting of RCEP Regional Economic and Trade Cooperation 2022, Shaanxi, China was held in Xi'an.
In 2021, the total value of imports and exports between Shaanxi and RCEP members reached CNY 189.5 billion, accounting for 39.8 percent of the total value of the province's foreign trade. From January to June 2022, the total value of imports and exports between Shaanxi and RCEP members stood at CNY 93.273 billion, up 4.41 percent year on year.
Li Fei, Member of the CPC Leading Group and Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, noted that the Ministry of Commerce will continue to promote the high-quality implementation of RCEP, deepen cooperation with RCEP member states, ensure the smooth implementation of agreements, and continuously support Shaanxi Province as it makes better use of RCEP.
At the meeting, 10 guests from embassies, consulates and business representative offices of RCEP member countries and representatives of key enterprises in Shaanxi Province had discussions and exchanges, and put forward ideas and suggestions for cooperation in order to achieve regional prosperity and development.
