On September 30, 2020, the 5th Anniversary of the Sister Province/State Relationship between Shaanxi Province and the State of Wyoming were launched. Zhao Yide, Governor of Shaanxi Province, and Mark Gordon, Governor of Wyoming, the United States, delivered a speech and signed the memorandum of Exchange and cooperation between the two provinces and states on the line. Vice Governor Xu Datong and Secretary of State Edward Buchanan of Wyoming attended the event.
