The China-Central Asia E-Commerce Deepening Cooperation Roundtable was successfully held


On the morning of November 17, the 7th Silk Road International Exposition hosted the China-Central Asia E-Commerce Deepening Cooperation Roundtable in Xi'an. Representatives from various parties gathered to focus on the theme of "Deepening Practical Cooperation and Achieving Mutual Benefits." They shared practical experiences in areas such as "Silk Road E-Commerce" policy supply, industrial agglomeration, talent cultivation, channel development, and business expansion. The roundtable also explored development paths to further enhance China-Central Asia e-commerce cooperation.


Li Jialu, Deputy Director of the Department of E-Commerce and Informatization at the Ministry of Commerce, stated that the Ministry of Commerce is willing to work closely with Central Asian countries to enhance trade facilitation, build cooperation platforms, strengthen exchanges and training, promote mutual industrial development, foster business connections, and bridge the digital divide. He emphasized the goal of transforming the China-Central Asia E-Commerce Cooperation Dialogue Mechanism into a new symbol of the Belt and Road Initiative’s high-quality development and a new model for global digital economy cooperation.


Guo Shaomin, Deputy Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, stated that Shaanxi is actively working to build an inland hub for reform and opening up, with its pace of opening up accelerating. He expressed hope that through joint efforts and collaborative development of "Silk Road E-Commerce," Shaanxi can expand e-commerce cooperation with Central Asian countries, share development opportunities, and achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.


Experts from the Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Economy and Commerce’s Commercial Representative Office in China, Bektei Mukhtar, He Kangtai from the Tajikistan Republic Free Economic Zone's Commercial Representative Office in China, as well as representatives from Xi'an Customs, Xi'an International Port Area, Shaanxi Silk Road City Holding Group Co., Ltd., Ant Group, and Shaanxi Xiyu Meinong Network Co., Ltd., were present at the roundtable and shared their insights and experiences.


Shaanxi will take this roundtable as an opportunity to continuously strengthen communication and exchanges with Central Asian countries, actively expand cooperation areas, deepen collaboration levels, and enhance cooperation standards. This will inject new momentum into the construction of the China-Central Asia Community of Shared Destiny and contribute to its development.
