The conference focused on key industries and cooperation projects, facilitating targeted matchmaking and exchanges.

The conference had two main venues, one in Xi'an and the other in Bangkok, Thailand. In addition, sub-venues were set up in various cities and districts in Shaanxi Province, as well as at the Royal Thai Consulate General in Chengdu, with participation from relevant Thai enterprises.

Representatives from the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, the Foreign Affairs Office, the Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and municipal and district commerce departments, as well as relevant development zones and enterprises interested in investing and cooperating with Thailand, attended the conference. The Royal Thai Consulate General in Chengdu, the Royal Thai Consulate General in Xi'an, the Thailand Small and Medium Enterprises Economic and Trade Development Committee, the Rubber Authority of Thailand, and over 20 Thai officials and business representatives from organizations such as Durian Flavor Food Co., Ltd. participated in the conference online.

At the conference, Wang Hongwei, Deputy Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce, delivered an opening speech, providing an introduction to the province's investment environment, key industries, development prospects, and the current state of economic and trade cooperation between Shaanxi and Thailand.

During the discussions, many Thai enterprises expressed their intention to visit Shaanxi for on-site inspections once the pandemic situation improves, aiming to invest and develop in the province as soon as possible. Furthermore, RCEP member countries are Shaanxi's largest trade partners, key overseas markets, important sources of foreign investment, and destinations for outward investment cooperation. The successful holding of this conference plays a positive role in further strengthening practical cooperation between Shaanxi and RCEP member countries, helping to achieve cooperation at a higher level and in broader fields under the RCEP framework.
